Dave worked in the agricultural industry for over 17 years and it's within that time that he managed to build some great relationships with a wide variety of land owners throughout the North West of the UK.

Ian

Ian has been with us from day one and is a living book of expertise and knowledge. 

Ian can be found on most of our digs helping keep the wheels turning by assisting giving tips, assisting members and in general just being the great guy that he really is.

You can be certain that if ians in the field... stuff will be coming up!

Ian is also our official body thats head of health and safety and a fully qualified field medic.

Maria

Maria has been with Detect it Nation for a few years now and does an amazing job dealing with everything that the group needs from safety equipment, merchandise and anything else that we all require to run.

Maria is also the head of sorting out all our insurances and finances and I generally don't know what we would do without her.

Lynne

Lynne has been with us for many years now and it's more than likely Lynne that will greet you upon arrival at one of our events.

Lynne does a great job in managing many of the groups finances in regards to charity work, merchandise and so much more whilst onsite at any of our events.

If your really really lucky... she may offer you one of her famous cupcakes aswell 🙃

Paul

Paul is an absolute gem to the group and has been with us from the very start.

Paul is our official head of parking and always does his best to ensure that the logistics side of our events run as smoothly as possible on the day of our digs.

Paul is very knowledgeable and loves to help people in the field so if your ever stuck with the i.d of that find that you have no idea about then the chances are... he's gunna know.

Phill

Phill is a great guy that loves nothing more than being out with his detector in the field.

Phill's been with us from the very start and does lots in the background onsite from ensuring all our first aid kit is up to date to ensuring everyones digging responsibly onsite.

If you see him in the field and get onto the subject of land rovers... dont expect to get away too quickly.

Thomas (Viking)

Thomas is one of a kind and has been with us from day one.

Thomas spends most of his time in the fields helping people and ensuring that the events are running as smoothly as they can on the day of our digs.

Tom's a true gentleman, he's a great friend with excellent knowledge and he's a real credit to our group and the metal detecting community overall.

Nicola

Nicola again has been with us since near the beginning ensuring the group runs as good as it can.

Nicola is a keen camper and does lots of the boring but crucial things in the background of events trying to ensure that our events run as smoothly as they can onsite and off site.

Ian (H) is the other half of Nicola and runs side by side with Nic trying to ensure that the group is running at its best.

Ian can be found on near all of events with his dog (benny) who is our very own hounds liason officer.
